"Men tend to NOT think about their testosterone levels at all, until it becomes an issue. " This quote is incredibly relevant and I've seen it over and over in the work that I do. Men have no idea how closely testosterone levels are related to sex drive and even brain function. I really appreciate you sharing this post, because it's so critical that men understand how testosterone effects their bodies.

Thanks AJAC, I've purchased several of your products and they are all great, especially the bro talk. 63 and paid for my own test through the lab I've used for years, which has really started to push men's health and testing for it, I wait for the "sale" when price is cut down, as was the case with my T test. Results were 208. Been riding my mtb for over 3 years and put on just under 7k in that time. Recover has gotten harder, and performance metrics were all over the place (Garmin epic) so I took the test. Brought in results with my blood panel the dr ordered and showed it to her (she's great and was all for the treatment), I'm going on a low dose gel that should be here in a few days.

Great article. A section detailing best times of day to have your blood levels checked depending on what type of TRT you're using would be helpful. For example, using topical gel, it's best to wait 3 to 5 hours after applying before having your levels checked.

Hi AJAC,

Thanks for the exhaustive post on TRT. It was very useful. Is using SERMs (example: Enclomifene) a good alternative to TRT?

No, estrogen suppression is not healthy and not nearly as effective as TRT

Amazing article. I've been getting my test levels measured for years. My anti-aging doctor is my drinking buddy (joking). Might finally pull the trigger either next year or the following year.

Just saw your email about this. Great piece. I'll have to read it more times.

It so happened that just before leaving US in early 2020 for Thailand I did a T test. Then I got stuck here, decided to stay, now living in Rawai / Nai Harn area for 17 months. I went to Lyfe Clinic in Rawai and got lots of tests. All good but the outliers were Vit D in the 90s! and my T had increased about 40%. I was looking into TRT which the very able Thai doc said I probably don't need. I'm in the mid-range for a 20 yo at 61.

My method is really simple:

1. Good real food exclusively. No "Sewen" crap.

2. Beach and sun. Nai Harn is 565 meters from the Rock Salt resto down to the rocks on the SE end. So, I walk down, swim back. 1 K total.

3. Bodyweight exercise. I bought a rack for pushups, pullups, and dips. And, resistance bands.

4. Have sex regularly with 20-somethings (I'm 61, but age is not much of a factor here). Bar girls, office workers, bank workers, etc.

...I think lots of guys do some version of of 1-3 good, but wonder why they still have no sexual interest in the gal they love and who had babies for them. Noble, but your physiology doesn't care.

So I wonder. How much of T is about "build it and they will come;" meaning, maybe just go out and act like you're 20 again, chasing hot pussy, and the T will come? And I say this having also read your post on pain and only cured my own once I realized it was psychosomatic some 8 years ago. John Sarno is where I learned that.

I also take Nolvadex / Tamoxifen recently and it strikes me as a good one for older dudes who sometimes can't help but get a bit of man boob almost no matter what they do.

I've probably dropped a good 10 kilo since I met you in Warsaw.

BTW, here's a study. Impressive increases in T from just 20mg Nolvadex daily. plus, no bitch tits.

First off, this article is incredible, thank you so much

Second, how much can a person raise their testosterone levels by thru “correct living”? My levels were >500 pre pandemic but during the pandemic due to various health/personal issues, i really let myself go and am now testing <500. I’m 26 years old for referrnce

I'm 25 and raised my levels above 1000 within a few months and was able to keep them that high. So in your case you could easily double or almost triple your T levels.

Thats awesome man, congrats. What did you do to raise it to those levels?
